A'Tuin
In 2024, Carlo Bechtel founded the band A’Tuin. Together with the outstanding musicians Sara El Hachimi (alto saxophone/flute), João Arrobas Rodrigues (piano/synthesizer), Lucyann Ceballos (E-bass) and Damien Kuntz (drums), Carlo brings his own music to the stages. The musicians of the quintet are active in the Swiss jazz scene and have performed in various formations throughout Switzerland and other parts of Europe and the world.
The members of A’Tuin have their roots in different countries around the world, from Morocco to Puerto Rico, Portugal, France and Switzerland.
With A’Tuin, the musicians want to build a bridge between jazz and modern music. When making music together, the band allows the different artistic backgrounds and musical ideas of the musicians to flow into the music. This ensures that the music remains creative and varied.
A’Tuin offers the audience groovy, danceable music with the aim of sparking an interest in jazz music among younger audiences.
